About Us
Landscape Designers

Landscape Design Consultants International was established in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal in 1991 and is owned and managed by Jo-Anne Hilliar, a professionally trained Landscape Designer who qualified with a Garden and Landscape Design Diploma through the University of Natal in 1990.
In 1991 Jo-Anne Hilliar Landscape Designers (JH Landscaping cc) was established in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, offering a range of services to an extensive corporate and residential market, both locally and internationally. JH Landscaping grew substantially over the years, handling projects varying in scale from small, intensive schemes, to large, park-like expanses with a focus on indigenous and water-wise gardening.
In 2005 JH Landscaping cc shifted its operational focus and is now offering landscape design consulting expertise in managing, overseeing and auditing expansive commercial, industrial and environmental sites in South Africa and now internationally.
Jo-Anne has also used her prior experience as Training and Marketing Director of an Industrial Relations firm to head up her Landscape Design School. The school was established in 2001.
Landscape Design Consultants International focuses on Joanne’s International Consulting services in order to accommodate the needs of the Green Industry, aiding in the development of landscapes and landscape designers working within the industry.
